G's romantic, upscale, a different place to be

Far to often we all need to find just such a place and thanks to Guy01, we have it. In Granville Island (what used to be known as the Boardwalk.), just over the bridge from Virtual Vancouver, you will find G's. G's is not a bar, it's something else altogether. It's a romantic getaway, it's most definitely a mood setter, but it is also a gathering place for people looking for a different kind of place to party and enjoy. When you come down the sidewalk to G's door, you see the historic sights of Granville Island around you, then you pass into those doors and it takes you, by surprise, into just that different kind of place and be ready, as you will feel it immediately.
You are looking down a hallway and seeing that it's all just so. Candles are flickering and you can hear the music playing. You walk a short ways and see the main area. The ample dance floor, a lovely ebony grand piano and then you see the tables, white linen covered tables set up for two. You see the breathtaking view through the back windows that seem to go on for eternity, that evening sun that hangs there, giving the bay an almost orange glow. As you look around you see welcoming couches and chairs and a long bar. You know that this bit of nirvana is truly special.
As you spend time in G's, you will meet the people that make up this place. You see, G's, for all it's romance and glimmer, is also a wonderful meeting place for friends and friends yet to be. Yes, it's semi formal- formal and yesss there are all the things that make this stand out as something different in the verse, yet it's also one very open and welcoming place. Dj's are on deck 3 nights a week spinning a wide variety of dance tunes for your pleasure and fun and music is always streaming in there as well.
Guy01 is the owner, who proclaims himself to be "only a builder" and scoffs at being called a romantic for creating such a place, yet only a true romantic could have put G's together and his love for G's and for his guests and friends certainly shows. He also knows just how to pick a staff and who to have to make things work. JenM_Gs_mgr is the manager of G's. She is one of the people that truly make G's what it is and oversees daily operations. Her inspirations and ideas work so well with Guy and his visions and that is evident in how smoothly G's runs. When I asked her what her vision of G's was, she said, "I want to see it as a place where people can come and enjoy themselves, a place where people want to be." And that is just what G's is, a place that people do enjoy themselves in. She also said, when asked, "I want to see G's reach it's full potential." And personally I can tell you this, G's, with the great people that are on staff there, will reach that potential quickly!!
On staff is Guy01, who is the owner and operator, JenM_Gs_MGR, manager, Gator_Gs_AgMg, advertising manager,LovelyLady32, the lead hostess, EyKaNdE_DOF_Gs and Babytoes, hostesses, and Wiked_Kat_Dof_Gs, moderator, as no issues or trouble are allowed here. This staff of 7 are indeed just what is needed to make G's work sooo smoothly. And with all that is happening here, and to come, they will be certainly hopping!
Guy has built up the huge outside pier into a very special place indeed. When you walk out onto it you will notice that like the interior of G's, everything is just right. Again, linen covered tables, perfect rose plants and a nice dance floor, all combine with that lovely sunset and shimmering bay to make for a perfect wedding spot, family and/or special friends gathering, or other private event. There is also a huge hot tub and sauna and while nudity is not allowed bathing suits are and with the great beach, what a wonderful way to round out a party, eh! In a couple of weeks, G's will be having the grand opening of it's pier and that should be a party not to be missed.
There are many things in the works and special guests already being booked, as well as many surprises to come, so know this G's is going to be around for a long time and trust me, you will not want to miss out. Do yourself and your friends a favor, while out and about in the verse, put on something a little nicer, or go all out and dress for the stars and go in G's and see for yourselves. You will be always welcome with open arms and hearts as they know how to treat everyone that graces them with their presence.
