The Utherverse Book Festival Meet and Greet

 A number of published authors were in attendance, including our own Brian Shuster, and the meet and greet was both very interesting and entertaining. The other authors in attendance were; Jesse Dylan, Jack Hugo, Kathy Evens and Steven Kreg, John E. McDonald, Ian Colford, Mistress Cristian, Verbalskillz & Damon Brown. Each of these very talented writers were happy to share themselves with us and even took time to answer the many questions posed, both during the main event and also after wards out in the book shop.

Also I do encourage all of you to go into Island Books and check out the books on display there and purchase these works, as there is so many great works there! Now, I also wish to recognize the staff, headed up by Nautica_Nadia who was the MC for the evening, that was tasked with holding this grand event, as they are to be commended for doing such a great job and keeping things moving nicely and fluid. Bravo to you all!!

Also, in conjunction with this event, was the short story competition, which yours truly was in the top ten of and ended up winning third place! I was very proud to be among a very talented group of writers and my congrats go out to RoseRed_SoulStar who won first place and Mankoz28 who came in second, but also congrats to all who entered as there is much talent and it shows the written word is far from dead! And I wish to thank all that took their time to vote for all of us, as that was truly the icing on the cake (still no free pie though...) 

Myself, like all those there, feel that this type of event is truly wanted and needed in the Verse and wish to see more of these types of events be put on.
